Effortless Aloe Vera Face Mask

I’m not exaggerating when I say aloe vera face mask left my skin feeling the best it has ever felt after a mask! I definitely noticed a brightness and tightness, but my favorite was how soft it felt after I took it off. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did – let me know what you think if you end up trying it!

Aloe vera is known for its many amazing benefits for hair, skin and digestion. I had mainly used it only to treat some tropical sun burns I had gotten a while back ago but had heard such great things about using the raw plant in its pure form.ย  I had been dying to try a DIY aloe mask at home, so one day after a visit to the local nursery I brought home the plant feeling inspired to start my at-home spa session ๐Ÿ™‚

Steps for Aloe Face Mask

  1. Rinse your aloe vera slice to make sure you don’t get anything you don’t want in your mask gel

This is what the aloe vera leaf looks like when it’s sliced off of the plant.
  2. Slice leaf in half with a knife to expose clear gel
  3. Use a spoon to scrape out the gel into a bowl (store in fridge for a couple of weeks and save for future masks)

  4. Rub the leaf on your face and neck to apply the remaining gel
