No matter what the adventure, these travel essentials are coming with me wherever I go! What you pack can really make a difference. Check out these five travel essentials and travel like a pro.
Ultimate Travel Essentials
Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones
Life. Completely. Changed. My gem of a husband gifted me my Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones (35 | 1st generation) about a year ago and my life hasn’t been the same since. What makes these such a must have for me is the noise cancelling feature. If you’ve ever gotten stuck on a plane right next to the engine or a screaming child, you know what I’m talking about! These will literally turn the noisiest airplane into a quite oasis for you to zone out or pass out. The cordless/Bluetooth and high sound quality are also super nice to have.
EZPacking Toiletry Cube
I have completely fallen in love with my beloved EZPacking packing cube. After traveling for years with quart sized plastic baggies, my life changed for the better once switching to this travel essential. I can easily fit twice as many items (even though it doesn’t look it), it is still mostly clear for easy viewing, and it’s TSA approved. It tucks away nicely into my backpack and has a little handle to pull out quickly when you’re having to go through security.
Another travel essential is a large over-sized scarf like this one from Asos. This one in particular looks so stylish and can match with a variety of outfits. The key is to find one that is soft, a little thicker, and ideally in a neutral color so you can match it with almost anything. Having something like this can double up as a blanket on cold planes or even a pillow when needed. If it’s summer, you can easily tuck it away in your carry on once you’re out in the real world.
I never used to travel with a pillow, but traveling with my husband means I don’t always get window (we both love taking pictures and I would quite possibly be the worst wifey for making my husband take middle seat all of the time). I’ve had my tempurpedic-style travel pillow for a while, but I recently picked one up like this at the the San Jose airport that I’ve been really loving. If you’re planning on a long flight and can’t sleep on command, you definitely need this in your life.
Yes, I’m that crazy person that will throw on a face mask during long flights. Happy skin = happy girl 🙂 Dry skin typically for me means a lot more redness and a tender face, so I love throwing on a mask that you don’t have to wash off when my skin is feeling like it needs some TLC. I’ve used the Sephora Rose Sheet Mask in the past and have liked it, but any sheet mask will do! Well, maybe not this one …
I hope you enjoyed these! I’m always looking for new ways to make travel life easier. What are your go to travel essentials?
